Handy tips: - Take these measurements wearing thin clothes and in bare feet. (A) Breastbone Height · With your heels and rump against the wall and your feet about 10 centimetres apart, insert a pencil into the dip at the top of the breastbone. · Hold the pencil parallel to the floor. · Have your friend measure from the underside of the pencil to the ground in millimetres. * Remember to include the depth of the measuring tape case in your measurements. (B) Inseam Length · With your heels and rump against the wall and your feet about 10 centimetres apart, hold the end of the tape measure firmly against your crotch. · Run your tape measure between your legs vertically to the floor. · Have your friend record the distance in millimetres. * Remember to include the depth of the measuring tape case in your measurements. |

(E) Shoulder Width · Have your friend measure from the tip of one shoulder bone to the tip of the other, following the contour across the back of the shoulders, in millimetres. (F) Arm Length · With your arm straight and your hand clenched like a fist around a pencil, swing your arm out to the side at 45°to your body. · Have your friend record the distance from the tip of the shoulder bone to the pencil in millimetres. * If required, remember to include the depth of the measuring tape case in your measurements. (G) Hand size · Set the end of the tape measure on the top of a table and extend the tape vertically 200 millimetres. · Clench your hand like a fist around the tape measure. · Have your friend record the distance from the table top to the top of the webbing between the thumb and fore finger in millimetres. Now that you have recorded these measurements, please take the time to go through them again to confirm each one. These measurements need to be right to ensure that the bike you order is the best fit for you. |
